HIS Light

HIS Light

HIS Light

//Who am I to be your brilliant light?

Connected to the unending source of sight

When blindness cripples me

Boulders trip and bloody knees

Harnessed power pulses through

Am I your candle with waxen anew

To shine with purity and hope?

Along dark treacherous paths, no rope

Your light illuminates each corner

Welcomes the stranger, foreigner

A light cannot burn of its own accord

Must be connected to the creator: Lord

Every smile and inspiration points to Him

Who created me for love, from love, no whim

The light radiates through my cells

Setting afire every tissue swells

Bursting forth, it cannot be contained

I release, surrender, let go, changed

Pulsing energy of my heavenly Father

His power’s only growing stronger, farther

I have been chosen to shine

To be His brilliant light, thine

“My daughter, simply be my vessel of light

for surrendered to me we can pierce and soar to great height.”//
